Getting started
Who can do what
Admins, managers, team members and clients, and exactly what each can do.
The four roles #
Everyone who signs in to Zapket has one role. The role decides what they see and what they can change. An admin picks the role when they invite someone, and can change it later on the Team page.
Admin
Runs the agency's Zapket. Sees every client, invites and removes people, sets the agency's name, chooses the plan and pays, and can do everything a manager can.
Manager
Looks after the clients they're assigned to. Adds clients, connects their accounts, approves the team's posts and sees the team's workload.
Team member
Does the day-to-day work for their clients: writes posts, sends them for approval, answers the inbox and uses the media library.
Client
Someone from the client's own business. Sees only their posts and reports, and approves posts or asks for changes. Clients never write or publish posts.
Assigned clients
Managers, team members and clients only see the clients they're assigned to. Admins see every client. Assign people to clients on the Team page, when you invite or edit someone.
Everything, side by side #
A tick means the role can do it. "Their clients" means only the clients that person is assigned to.

Tip
"Can record one" means a manager or admin can approve a post for the client when the client said yes somewhere else, like on a call. Zapket notes who recorded it.
A few rules that keep everyone safe #
- Nobody can change their own role, so the last admin can never lock themselves out.
- Admins can't deactivate themselves.
- A post can be edited until it starts publishing. After that it can't change.
- Deactivated people can't sign in, and get no more emails or messages. Their past work stays.
