Getting started
What Zapket does
The whole app in five minutes: who uses it and what each part is for.
In one sentence #
Zapket is where the agency plans, writes, approves and publishes social media posts for every client, answers their comments and messages, and shows how it all went.
Who uses it #
- The agency team writes posts, schedules them, answers the inbox and reads the numbers.
- Managers and admins also approve posts, look after clients and keep an eye on the team's workload.
- Clients sign in to approve their posts and read their monthly reports. That's all they see.
More in Who can do what.
A post's life, start to finish #
- Connect the client's Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and other accounts, once.
- Write the post in the composer: text, photos, which accounts, and when. The AI writer can help.
- Approve: a manager checks it, then the client, in the app, by email or on WhatsApp.
- Publish: at the chosen time, Zapket posts it everywhere on its own.
- Answer comments and messages about it in the inbox.
- Report: the numbers arrive the next day, and a monthly report can go to the client automatically.
Where everything is #
The sidebar on the left (the tab bar at the bottom on a phone) has two parts, and each client has its own tabs.
For all clients
- Dashboard: what needs attention today
- Calendar: everything planned
- Approvals: posts waiting for a yes
- Inbox: comments, messages, reviews
- Analytics and Reports: the numbers
- Listening: what people say online
Agency
- Clients: add and edit clients
- Team: invite people
- Workload: who has too much on
- Agency settings, and Plan and billing: admins only
Inside a client, as tabs
- Overview and Accounts
- Media: photos and videos
- Campaigns and Instagram grid
- Links: short links, link in bio
- Competitors, Blog to post, Ads
Tip
The sidebar is the same on every page. Open a client from Clients, search (Cmd+K) or the Dashboard, and that client's pages appear as tabs across the top: Overview, Accounts, Media and so on. Click the client's name above the tabs to switch client; you stay on the same tab.
The slim bar across the top holds three things you'll use all day:
- Search: press Cmd+K (Ctrl+K on Windows) to find a client, a post by its words, or any page, and to start a new post for a client.
- The bell: what needs you now, like posts waiting for your approval, posts sent back to you and messages assigned to you.
- Help: this user guide and the connection guide.
Networks it works with #
Facebook, Instagram, Threads, LinkedIn, YouTube, Pinterest, Google Business Profile, Bluesky, Mastodon, Telegram and Discord for posting. WhatsApp Business for customer messages and client approvals. TikTok and X are coming later. Which ones are on depends on what an admin has turned on in Integrations.
