Getting started
Signing up and signing in
Starting a free trial, accepting an invite, signing in, and what to do if you forget your password.
New agency: start a free trial #
Whoever starts Zapket for an agency signs up, and becomes its first admin.
- Go to https://social.zapket.app/register, or tap Start free trial on the Zapket website.
- Fill in your name, your agency's name, your work email, a mobile number, your state and a password, then tap Start free trial.
- Open the email called Verify Email Address and tap the button in it. Nothing arrived? On the Confirm your email page, tap Send the link again.
- You land on your agency's empty Dashboard, with a short list of first steps.
The trial is free for 14 days, with no card. See Plan and billing for what comes after.
Joining your agency: accept the invite #
Everyone else at an agency, and its clients, don't sign up. An admin at the agency invites you, and you get an email.
- Open the email called "… invited you to Zapket".
- Tap Set your password. A page called Choose a new password opens with your email already filled in.
- Type a new password in New password and again in Type it again.
- Tap Save new password. You're in.
The link lasts 24 hours
If it has run out, ask the person who invited you to send a new one. Admins can use Resend invite on the Team page.
Signing in #
- Go to the Zapket address and tap Sign in. You'll see Welcome back.
- Type your Email and Password. The eye button shows the password while you type.
- On your own phone or computer, tick Keep me signed in.
- Tap Sign in. The agency team lands on the Dashboard; clients land on Home.
Too many tries
After 5 wrong tries in a minute, Zapket makes you wait a minute before trying again. This keeps accounts safe.
Forgot your password, or want to change it #
- On the sign-in page, tap Forgot password?, next to Password.
- Type the email you sign in with and tap Email me a reset link.
- Open the email, tap the link, choose a new password and tap Save new password.
No email? Check spam, and wait a minute before asking again: a new link can be sent once a minute.
Your account: name, email and password #
Open your account menu: tap your name at the bottom of the sidebar, or your initials at the top right on a phone. Choose Your account.
- Your details: change your name or the email you sign in with, then Save details.
- Password: type your current password, then the new one twice (at least 8 characters), and tap Change password.
Only an admin can change your role.
Sign-in codes: an extra lock #
Sign-in codes stop anyone who learns your password from getting in. After your password, Zapket asks for a 6-digit code from an app on your phone, like Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator.
Turning them on
- Open Your account. Under Sign-in codes, type your password and tap Set up sign-in codes.
- In your authenticator app, add an account and scan the square code, or type the setup key.
- Type the 6-digit code the app shows and tap Turn on.
- Save the recovery codes shown. Each one gets you in once if you lose your phone.
Signing in with them
After your password you'll see Enter your sign-in code. Type the code from the app and tap Continue. Lost your phone? Tap Use a recovery code.
Keep your recovery codes safe
Without your phone and your recovery codes you can't sign in. Used them all? In Your account, tap New recovery codes; the old ones stop working.
Signing out #
Open your account menu (your name at the bottom of the sidebar, or your initials at the top right on a phone) and choose Sign out. Always sign out on a shared computer.
Still can't get in? #
- "Your account has been deactivated": an admin turned your access off. Ask an admin at the agency.
- "… is paused": whoever runs Zapket has paused your agency, and the page says why. Nothing is deleted. Your agency's admin can sort it out with them.
- A banner says Zapket is read-only: the trial has ended or payments stopped. You can still see everything. See Plan and billing.
- Email not recognised: you may have been invited with a different address. Ask the admin which one.
- A client's page says "Not found": you're not assigned to that client. Ask an admin to add you on the Team page.
